About The Writer
Foo, Shu Tieng is presently a Research Associate at the Archaeology Unit of the Nalanda-Sriwijaya Centre, ISEAS - Yusof Ishak Institute. She has worked on projects in Cambodia (Cheung Ek Kilng Mong, Don Meas, Phnom Kulen, Koh Ker, Tonle Snguot), Indonesia (Batanghari Riverine project), and Singapore (Tanjong Katong).

She is also a member of the Southeast Asian Ceramic Society and the Indo-Pacific Prehistory Association. She was the managing editor of NSC Highlights (June 2016-March 2019), a quarterly newsletter, and an editor for the NSC AU Archaeology Report Series. She has helped to facilitate several field study programmes in Southeast Asia to Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia. She has also assisted the Indonesian Studies Cluster ISEAS to set up a GIS database and copyediting.
